So my love for maxis continue this summer. the easy effortless trend is sweeping my town and city like a wild fire. Everyone seems to be rocking them! I dont think i have worn shorts this “summer” let. all about the dresses!

I have a difficult time finding maxis as my legs are to long they always look awkwardly short on me  but i found one, with, again a great detail.

Pairing this look with a jean jacket is an effortless look that makes you stand out and look put together.

Hi y’all!  I picked up this dress back in December  and finally its the first warm day that i can throw it on. Pairing it with a scarf to add something to an open front.  The dress looks simple but turning around has a great detail to separate this dress from all the rest.

Trying to find the perfect acc and cant find anything at the stores  boutiques jewerlly boxes. i have a great way to make your own necklace.  I went to Wal- Mart bought a pendent i liked and with 3 easy steps i have something cute trendy and D.I.Y

 

 

Step 1 

buy a charm or pendent you like.. i picked mine up for $3.50

 

Step 2 

Pick up hangers that will allow you to connect your item to a necklace. 

 

Step 3 

attack one to the pendent / charm etc  

Step 4 

buy a chain or use another necklace one  and voila you are finished making your own custom necklace everyone will surely ask you about !

Quick post while styling at my job got this great idea for the use of a bandeau. If your not familiar with them its a band the goes around your bust to help if you have low cut top, want to conceal a bra strap in the back etc. 

But why stop there. i love using pieces that i can change and use in different ways.

wanting to colour block ( which is huge this season ) try a bandeau belt.! looking to add some high waist flare to your skirt or jeans add a bandeau belt! wanting to tighten your waist line? add a bandeau belt!

A very merry un-birthday to you

Today is my Birthday and im working today going out later for some martinis, as im getting older i tend not to get to excited about birthdays, and why i choose to work today! 

Feeling like a Cheshire Cat im sporting stripes.

I picked up this skirt at forever 21 for $6 adding a an oversize top to balance out the bottom . ( very important ) and adding a belt to tie it all together!

Having a high waist skirt helps to hide any flaws and really shows off the smaller part of your waist would recommend everyone to add one as a staple in their closets !
