D.I.Y – sparkle flip flops!

Thursday night. bucket of KFC , sparkles glue and old navy. 

i dont normally wear flip flops very often , i thought why not add some glam to it,  make it more personalized.?!

Here is the result and steps.

step 1 ) 

If you can buy a new pair of flips if not. make sure your old ones are cleaned well ( if not the sparkles wont sit evenly  and will fall off fast ) 

old navy  2 or $6  ( i picked up a black pair too…  * a first for me *

step 2 

  pick  up sparkles i dont think they matter much ,  i also picked up sparkle glue and tried to match it to the sparkle but you can also just use regular white glue : )

step 3 

 take the sparkle glue and put on the rubber thong part carefully ( because where you put glue sparkles will stick )  its nice with the sparkle glue because it has abit of a nozzle that you can you use to spread and put on slowly and carefully  then apply sparkles over top. wait about 30 mins after

step 3 – after waiting 30 mins add a top coat in clear, or use hair spray!  it helps seal the sparkles with out flaking off.

I waited over night, i also covered the shoe with paper  (so when  i  sprayed the  gloss glue it wouldnt ruin the flip flops )

but its super easy and here is the end result !

Bathing suits galore  i made up to my local beach to embrace the beautiful weather and picked up a new suit when i was down there. $ 10 for both top and bottom SCORE! i was looking for a black one and i think this worked out perfectly

SO summer isnt over yet! so im going to blog about the hottest bathing-suits this s/s 2011

1) the bandeau top still very popular and i love the raspberry colour 10/10

2 )  great triangle top  if you need a boost for your upper half and of course black too which is my favourite bikini colour this season :)

3) Ruffles  love the ruffles again adding more to top and bottom

also stripes! huge this year.why not on swim-suits too!

 Im trying really hard to show and inspire people with different  looks.  this is a fashion blog and there so many bloggers out there that  make me try new  things. Im so over ” labels” and ordinary fashion statement pieces. i thought i would try and show red lips and cut out bows in my LBD! i saw this dress in a boutique had to own it.  I have a similar dress from wal-mart with bows for the winter.  im also thinking of layering it with a white tee over it and a belt!   who doesnt love red lips?! it  oozzees with sex appeal every time i wear red lip-stick it just screams pouty- lips.   i kept my accs  minimal so i can have the focus on my lips and dress  a very good tip!

Im light as a feather and i sting like beee ;)

As alot of my blogger friends pointed out. fashion is confidence .  You have to be daring enough to take chances  try something new and experiment, you also have to admit when something isnt going[looking] right.  I think this can also be said with people in your life that act fake . People who justify it in their mind that what they are doing is right,  but its just selfish and manipulating. im really starting to be a big believer in karma , your attitude is everything in the fashion world or  with encounters in your day – to – day life 

OKAY  now  with my fun and spirted ways. ive been really feeling boho this whole summer. I was never to sure about the whole feather in one ear untill i found one which i think is brilliant i have another great outfit planed with  my earing that i cant wait to show :)

That aint classy

Trying to stay by the golden rule of the ” essence” of being classy. Any women you look back in history always held their head high when people try to get the best of you IF you need to brag about how classy you are.. you arent classy. If you need to drive an hour out of your way to cause problems .. that aint classy. But what is classy is tastefully doing crop tops and finally being able to wear white..

I used a good basic tip in fashion… always make sure you balance out the top and bottom. never have anything to wide on the top and bottom and .. other way around.

This outfit is fun cute flirty perfect for summer and a perfect way to show off those trends. ( high low , crop tops white , florals wedges etc ( as i talked about here -> spring romance – trends) as you can see i used the angle crop top to add more volume on the top and because my legs are in pretty decent shape i decided to show off those using a great high rise white jean shorts and my Michael Kors wedges :)

enjoy and rememeber always do things that you can look back at and feel proud.

summertime goddess

Ya summer time the weather has been a perfect 10 .. and ive been  working everyday! wah  i finally have a week off ,  i may go and visit a friend in edmonton or head to ottawa! choices! but its the summer so anything is possible :)

SINCE its been a long weekend and holiday i thought i would jam pack this post with outfits ive taken over the last week!

she dreams in color she dreams in red…can’t find a better man

I woke up today feeling very easy going and kind of like a hippie!

I never thought i could pull off the whole “hippy”  headband … so i left my hair to dry naturally  trying to brush it out first and added a bit of smoothing serum to reduce the frizz..

I bought this over sized lace detail top reg. $60 for $8.  I also bought a bandage dress which im hoping to wear tonight ( to take pictures)  when i go downtown with my girlfriend Danielle.
